Questions & answers

The things people
actually ask.

Straight answers — including the ones worth asking any company you’re considering, not just us.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

No. Review Accelerator is month to month. If it stops being worth it, you tell us and it stops.

This is worth asking anyone you’re comparing us to. Annual agreements that auto-renew are common in this industry, often with a narrow window to cancel and an early-termination fee equal to whatever’s left on the term. Ask for the cancellation terms in writing before you sign anything.

Who actually writes the review responses — me or you?

We do — or more precisely, the system we build and train for you does. Every day it checks for new reviews and writes a reply to each one, in your tone. Nobody on your team writes a word.

That’s the difference. With most platforms the tool drafts something and your staff still has to log in, read it, fix it, and post it — every time. Here it’s already written; you either tap approve or let it post on its own. Ask any competitor this directly — the honest answer is usually “you do.”

Do replies post automatically, or do I get to approve them?

Your choice, and you can change your mind whenever you want.

Most clients start by approving each reply — it takes a second per review and they like the control. Once they trust the voice, plenty of them turn on auto-posting and stop thinking about it. Either way, negative reviews are handled with extra care.

Will it sound like a robot wrote it?

That’s the thing we spend the most setup time on. The AI is trained on your business and your tone during onboarding, so replies read like your business wrote them — not like a template with a name dropped in.

Responses are also written with a PR mindset: measured with difficult reviewers, and written for the future customer reading the thread later. A defensive reply to a bad review does more damage than the review did.

Which review sites do you cover?

Google first, because for a local business that’s roughly 90% of what actually matters. We can create custom review links for Facebook, Yelp, and whatever else is relevant in your industry.

You’ll see platforms advertise integrations with 200+ review sites. It sounds impressive and it’s mostly noise — you’ll never touch 190 of them. We’d rather put the effort where your customers actually look.

How does negative-review gating work? Is it legitimate?

Our follow-up asks how things went before pointing anyone anywhere. Happy customers get the public review link. Unhappy customers get a private path straight to you.

Nobody is stopped from leaving a public review — anyone can go to Google any time. What this does is make sure you hear about a bad experience while you can still fix it, instead of reading about it later alongside everyone else.

What does the chatbot need from me?

Time during setup, and not much after. We sit down together and gather what it needs: your services, your hours, your pricing questions, and the things customers ask you constantly.

That’s the whole reason there’s a one-time setup fee — the bot is trained specifically on your business rather than switched on from a template. After launch, we tune it as new questions come up.

Do the social and email tools mean you run my marketing?

No, and we want to be clear about that. Your plan includes a social scheduling tool and an email marketing tool — those are yours to log in and use, at no extra cost, instead of paying for separate subscriptions.

The reviews and the chatbot are the parts we build and train for you — once they’re running, they run on their own. If you also want us planning your content calendar or writing your campaigns, that’s a separate service and we’re happy to talk about it.

What does it cost?

One flat monthly price with everything included — no tiers, and no holding the chatbot or the email tool hostage on a pricier plan. There’s also a one-time setup fee, because your review follow-up and AI training are built for your business specifically.

Pricing depends on your situation, so get in touch and we’ll give you a real number. When you compare, ask for the full first-year cost in writing — monthly, setup, per-location fees, and any renewal increases.

How long until it’s running?

Most of the timeline is the setup conversation and the training — the part that makes it sound like you. Once that’s done, review monitoring and responses start right away, and the chatbot goes live on your site.

Get in touch and we’ll walk you through what your specific setup looks like.

Who do I call when something breaks?

Us. You get dedicated support from people who already know your business and your account — not a ticket queue and a different rep every time.

Review Accelerator is run by RAD Web Marketing, a Sonoma County agency that’s been doing this since 2004. Many of our clients already work with us on their website and marketing, and this is one more thing handled by someone they know.
